September 3, 2025 — Chloe Malle has been named the new Head of Editorial Content for Vogue U.S., succeeding Anna Wintour after her 37-year tenure. Malle, 39, has been with Vogue for over a decade, previously serving as editor of Vogue.com and co-hosting the magazine’s podcast, The Run-Through.
Acknowledging Her Privilege
In a recent interview, Malle openly acknowledged her privileged background, describing herself as a “proud nepo baby.” She emphasized that while her family connections provided opportunities, they also heightened her awareness of the need to prove her capabilities.
Vision for Vogue
Malle aims to modernize Vogue by focusing on high-quality, thematic collectible editions, reducing print frequency, and enhancing digital content. She seeks to engage a “smaller, healthier” audience while navigating the challenges of a rapidly changing media landscape.
